Rotherham’s KOSTAL UK Ltd is the UK subsidiary part of the German based independent, family owned KOSTAL Group. The Group's main activities include the development and manufacture of technologically advanced electronic and electromechanical (mechatronic) products.
KOSTAL manufacture a range of automotive assemblies from steering column switches to complete, integrated modules. The KOSTAL product range extends from combined steering column switches for compact cars, through to “high-end” steering column modules for premium class vehicles.
The company manufacture central control units for functions such as central locking, the operation of lights and wipers, and the monitoring of fluid levels and temperatures. Also roof modules, handling functions such as sunroofs, reading lights and integrated monitoring of the passenger compartment.
Many of the world's leading automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Daimler, Ford, FIAT, Tata / Jaguar / Land Rover, Renault / Nissan, Porsche, VW and their suppliers feature in the Group's customer base.
